About

The Honey Ants are John Grímsey and Rebecca Hamer. They write and record Nashville-infused Americana underpinned by a distinctly London sound.

After meeting, learning of a mutual love of Americana music and trying out some songs together the two discovered theirs was an unquestionably unique vocal blend. Armed with this and a passion for classic-songwriting The Honey Ants have been wowing audiences ever since.

They've seen support from PRS International Showcase Fund, Music Week, Record of the Day, BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, CBC Radio 2 (Canada), WFUV (New York) and Amazing Radio amongst others.

The band have played shows on both sides of the Atlantic, including AmericanaFest in Nashville and Country2Country at The O2 London.
